Currently, the rubber plantation area in Liberia spans approximately 13331 hectares, making it one of the largest industrial rubber cultivation zones globally. These rubber plantations serve as a primary income source for local communities, with residents actively engaged in all operational stages—from rubber planting and latex tapping to rubber processing. By providing employment opportunities across the value chain, the plantations have contributed to enhancing living standards for the local population to a certain extent.
